The original build would have taken too long to print for a next day present, so I rummaged the garage and found an unused standard pvc water pipe. 50cm long , 11cm diameter. With this as a base for a lighthouse I only had to print the top section(s), some windows a door and the housenumbers of course.
Yoe need:
I spray painted the pvc pipe white, and found a rest of adhesive red lamination sheets I made the red rings of.
Then I printed
1x rail
1x torch
1x roof
and hot glued them together, and hot glued them on the wider top of the pipe.
3x windows
1x door
the inner part of these matches the diameter of the pipe, I printed them standing upright, and hotglued them to fitting places of the lightouse. (note: I cut the upper part of the windows because they came out too cutesy for my taste)
x housenumbers.
I printed mione flat so they dont follow the curve of the pipe, because I liked the look better. They are not included in the download, but super simple to create. Of course you can buy ready done housenumbers and glue them to the lighthouse.
stability.
I filled the pipe halfway with pebblestones and closed the lower end wit a fitting endcap I had around. Just putting it over a 2L waterbottle does the same job.
