I didnt want to put Nori Light strips on my bicycles rims permantently, so I 3D printed clips that I can just click on my rims and attached the light strips on those clips. So I can easily remove or rearrange the clips into different patterns.
The surface that gets illuminated by the Nori Lights is a lot bigger than with one or even two rounds of the glowing stripes. Plus it is now possible to determine that the wheel is actually in motion.
The video is taken with a cheap chinese gopro ripoff actioncam, so it does not properly reflect the actual effect, which is pretty strong and bright.
The 3D printed clips do fit on the rims of my bike ( Syncros X-30S / 32H / 30mm / Sleeve ) perfectly, but I am working on a parametric version to make them fit on all rims. I'll update here when I make the files available.
