WPL Axles

This is a rear axle for the C24, B16 and probably other vehicles by WPL.

You need to have the metal parts; bearings, rod, gears, etc. It may also work with the stock parts.

The margins are tricky, you may have to do some post processing to have the bearings fit nicely. I also used two tie wraps to keep the axle housing parts together more tight.

There is a rear axle housing added for real differential axles I found on AliExpress, take a look at the photo to see if you have the same one.

Parts to print

• Diff cover
• Diff input
• 2x half axle

Print two half parts so you can insert the metal parts easily, I think you can print it in one piece and add the parts with some fiddling but I did not try this yet.

• Nice cover
• Peekaboo cover, add 13mm transparant pane to see your gears turn!
• Old cover, prototype

Connections

With these parts you can use the open diff version and still connect it to the vehicle because the original connections do not fit anymore, the housing for the open diff moved a bit to the side. It's the red parts in the photo from below.

Future improvements

• Bearings nicer fit
• Better gear location preventing friction
• Add sizes for other vehicles
