Clips for securing a 3/16" or 1/8" thick, 10 1/8"x10 1/8" glass sheet to the Bambu P1P or X1C heat bed. I made these to fix an issue with a warped heat bed on my P1P.
The Fusion 360 file is included to allow anyone to change the model to different glass thicknesses if needed. All of the important measurements are in the parameters of the file.
These use two M3 heat set inserts and 2 M3x12 Socket Head Cap Screws per clip. I used the Ruthex inserts, but the model has a parameter for insert size if you need to use another one.
I used four of these for my heat bed, but three would probably be sufficient. These will protrude very slightly into the build area, so be aware of where they are located when laying out models.
To help with heat transfer, I used some thermal compound pads to place between the glass and the heat bed. I used some 100x100mm pads of various thickness to help even the support under the bed.
I assume these clamps will deform over time unless printed from something like PC plastic, so expect to change them out if the plastic begins to deform in a manner than prevents the glass from being held in place. So far, I have used the original set I printed in Atomic PETG-CF for at least 40 print hours at 80C-90C with no issue outside of some very light deformation on the top ridge.
