“RINGsome” - the easy and versatile concept for rings

This ring concept is the successor of the previous posted “ring with big plate (very versatile)” - now it is more stable and the design more streamlined.

It also comes with a bigger variety of available ring sizes (17mm - 25mm in 0.5mm steps)  and more ring plates designs.

It's a complete package, with which you are able to quickly desing your ring, print, glue and wear - it's a one stop for your ring designs.

The RINGsome  concept consist of

  • the ring (size available from 17mm to 25mm in steps by 0,5mm)
  • the connector (one size fits all), slightly ellipse-shaped to ensure the right orientation of the plate
  • the plate (comes in six different variations

Those three components are glued together, following this sequence:

  1. glue the ring into the connector
  2. glue the ring/connector into the plate - the oval shape of the connector and the countershape in the ring will help you to align those to parts

Basically that's it...

.. but this concept is like a canvas! Like a blank white canvas comes to live when somebody paints color on it, it's on you to decide, which color you choose and which items you will place on the plate.

You can use the great text function in PrusaSlicer to put text on the plates, you can mix/mount other 3D-files within PrusaSlicer using the cute and merge function, you can glue objects onto the plates itself….  - the possibilities are endless.

If you are interested in a ring concept in which the ring and the plate is mounted via a magnet and you can interchange several plate design with one ring, checkout  “Ringify v2- a magnetic ring to carry them all”.

I would be really happy if you post your makes, give me a like or on any constructive comment - looking forward to see your creations.

This is a redevelopment of  “ring with big plate (very versatile)This is a non-compatible redevelopment, this means  you can't use the plate of the first concept with ringbase.
