This is a 3D Printed arm to make automatic motorized time lapses on a prusa mini using a webcam.

It uses an arduino & 28byj-48 stepper motor as the basic power drive.

Some possible improvements:

  • Make the gap between X - Axis stepper motor and the arm bigger, it's rather tight
  • Make the arm slightly longer (two piece) so the center actually matches the center of the build plate
  • use gears to get a smoother stepping/moving action (and possibly stronger)

Notes:

All parts should print without supports. I used PLA, but I guess other materials (apart from flex obviously) will work fine as well.

Please note that the fit between the X-Axis stepper motor of the printer, and the arm is rather tight. Make sure you can freely move the Y - Axis all the way to the top before tightening completely.
