CROSS COUNTRY SKI INTERFACE to adjust the position of a SNS-Pilot binding on a IFP-ski rail.

Allow to test the different position on ski :

Pos -2; Pos-1; Pos 0; Pos 1; Pos 2; Pos 3

You need additionnal screws:

  • M5 - 12 mm - BTR countersunk head => x4 screws for front & middle parts
  • M5 - 16 mm - BTR countersunk head => x1 screw for heel part
  • M5 thin nuts ( 3.9 mm thickness) => x5
  • M3 - 8 mm - BTR countersunk head => x2 screws for stopper part

Mounting instructions:

  1. glue the nuts into the interface

  2. connect heel + middle parts and slide forward into the ski rail

  3. slide barward the front part

  4. Choose the position on ski (look through the windows) and clip the stopper part

  5. Screw the binding on the interface

This is on Open source project in order to adjust the sliding tolerance on the model according to your 3D printer precison.

To insure a strongest making, it is better to print the part vertically (as the STL files), printed in PETG or Nylon with 25 % infill.

The interface weights 50 g par ski. So it is the perfect tool to test and choose your best binding position on ski.

After use the ultralight shim (11g par ski) to mount definitively the binding on ski :
