Nodes is a construction toy that lets you build large wireframes with minimal material. Use those filament scraps for something big!

Printing

  • No supports needed
  • Requires some precision for a nice part fit
  • Use PETG or TPU for the links
  • Use scrap PLA for the node connectors

 

Options

  • Four node connector shapes (triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon)
  • Six link lengths (4, 6, 8, 10, 20, 30 notch)
  • Trimmable Link - Designed to be cut down to a desired length

 

Tips

  • Links need to be able to bend - PETG and TPU is recommended.
  • For shorter links (4 & 6 notch), TPU works best.
  • If node ports are too tight, use a flat head screwdriver to widen them slightly.

 

Common Shapes

  • Tetrahedron - 4 nodes, 6 links
  • Octahedron - 6 nodes, 12 links
  • Cube - 8 nodes, 12 links
  • Dodecahedron - 20 nodes, 30 links
  • Icosahedron - 12 nodes, 30 links
