As many people probably did, I saw a video and some blog posts recently touting the MI25 as a secret beast for AI image generation, especially since you can get this 16GB card on eBay right now for under $100. As a server grade card, it does not include a fan, and is instead expected to be passively cooled by the server's fans. As I will not be running this in a server, I needed a way to cool this card because it does run extremely hot.
Enter this design. It is meant to replace the existing case that comes on the MI25, so be sure to remove that. Rather than designing a full length replacement I opted to go for something shorter that extends just over the edge of the heatsink, making for a much easier print with less material.
I print this upright, with the larger end in the air. This allows it to be printed without supports, though you may want some organic supports under the fan hole. Definitely use a brim though, as your printer will try to knock it over.
Mount with the original screws, or get some that are 1mm or so longer.
