Diabetic Pen Needle Sharps Container

I wanted something on my desk that was not huge, bright red and with bio hazard signs on it for my diabetic pen needles so I came up with this.

It has a needle bender for both ends of the needle cap, one is just a hole, lay the needle at an angle so the needle sits on the plastic then push the cap end into the hole. The internal needle stub just lay the needle itself on the slope then push the cap down and it is now bent and out of the way.

I always bend over the outside but always worried that if I dropped on and my daughter got it that she could still get hurt, now without tweezers and a lot more dexterity than what she has at this age she can poke and prod it without injury if one does get loose.

I made the inside needle nub separate so that the lid could be printed flat, it can just be glued in.

I have included the Fusion 360 file, I made it so that it was fairly easy to adjust the size and the printer tolerance to get you a good fit after printing, open the file and go to modify -> change parameters and in there you will find 3 variables LidTolerance, ContainerSize and ContainerHeight adjust those and the model will follow
