The Everything Presence One - https://shop.everythingsmart.io/products/everything-presence-one-kit - is an ESP32 based presence sensor, incorporating mm wave sensing technology, a PIR, a temperature/humidity sensor, as well as a light level sensor. It integrates perfectly with Home Assistant via its use of ESPHome.
The board is absolutely perfect, but unfortunately I did not like the standard 3D printed case at all, so in the finest 3D printing tradition I designed my own.
It is intended to be positioned on a table, desk, side table etc, with the board being tilted back by about 10 degrees from the vertical. It makes use of a 90 degree USB-C adapter to route the USB-C power cable out the back. I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B8X6H96S but others should be fine.
The design probably needs a few refinements. In particular it does not make use of both PCB mounting holes. None the less the PCB fits securely and I'm very pleased, now, with my EP1.
Mounting hardware was obtained out of my drawer of random screws. I'd guess they are M2 self tappers, about 8mm long.
Feedback, good and bad, is always welcome.
UPDATE 2023-12-15
Based on feedback, the hole for the light sensor has been enlarged by 1mm in all directions and a new case-v2.stl has been uploaded.
