Hello drummers, Hello hobbyists, Hello everyone else,

this is the first Version of a traditional 5a-sized drumstick, which I designed. With this project, I wanted to see how far I could Push 3d- printing and test out if I could actually print a fullsized drumstick. The problems that come with the creation of a drumstick are pretty obvious, since it has to be very strong and stiff against the impact to a drum or a cymbal while creating a good sound. I hope that I can solve these problems by using much infill in the slicer settings.

To clear something up, since it is maybe a bit suspicous, that i write “I hope”, the reason behind this choice of words is, that I do not own a 3d-printer and have to print somewhere else, which is the reason why I could not print and test the modell yet. If I get to print and test the model, I am going to share my experience and upload a better version, if necessary.

For print settings, I would recommend a strong material in combination with high percentage of infill. The assembly of the sticks should be done by gluing the two pieces together with superglue oranother strong glue of your choice.

I wish you a lot of fun and great playtime with these drumsticks!

If you apprecciate my work, I would be happy about feedback and support as well as a look on my other models! :)
