Description

PDF

Spool Holder for your Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro (Plus, Max, and others) that uses ball bearings for smooth feeding.

Also lowers your machine by 2cm, making it fit into most small tents for 3D printers (e.g. Creality-branded ones).

You can mount two spool holders on each side.

Hardware

  • 2x 608ZZ ball bearing (skateboard bearings) per side
  • 1x M6x20mm (1mm thread pitch) bolt per side
  • 1x M6 nut per side

Print Instructions

0.2mm layer height, 2 walls, 15% gyroid infill.

Assembly

  1. Make a complete cylinder by joining together two half-cylinders with an hexagonal pin
  2. Add two 608ZZ ball bearings to each end of the cylinder
  3. Drop the cylinder in the main body
  4. Use adhesive to mount M6 nuts into hexagonal recesses of the thread adapters
  5. Use the M6x20mm bolt to attach the main body to a thread adapter part (after that, you can't take out the cylinder)
  6. Attach the completed holder to your printer
