Evolution of the tool caddy I originally remixed from @OneTrueMyth's Deluxe Tool Caddy. Reimplemented in Fusion 360, with additional storage space for USB drives, plus four different mounting options for the 3030 extrusion of the Prusa XL.
PETG, PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.6, all good. I printed it with a 0.6 mm nozzle, 0.25 mm layer height, 20% gyroid infill.
Print the model upside down. With the 0.6mm nozzle I ended up with bad bridging of the main tray, so I ended up painting on a sacrificial support (see 3mf file). I also uploaded a tray liner, to hide any imperfections from the bridging.
I designed a small brim into the model to provide more contact surface for the 3030 extrusion anchors. Use a deburring tool or Xacto knife to remove it.
Also included is a small hook, for things like a spatula or nozzle brush. Use epoxy or superglue to attach one or more hooks to the caddy's side(s).
Four different mounting options, for mounting on the left or right side, in different orientations. The 3mf file contains all versions, plus hook and tray liner, and is configured for a filament swap/color change around 2 mm. Just select one mounting option and delete the others.
