I made some target rings to create a game out of the launchers made by Nakozen.
The STLs have a 0.2mm clearance on the threads (0.1 removed on opposing sides). If this is still too tight for your printers tolerance, let me know and I can easily add some more loose locking nuts.
Additionally, you can edit the parameter in the fusion 360 file to edit the clearance easily yourself.
Printing:
- You'll need a locking nut for each target ring you install.
- The target rings have 2 parts, the ring itself and the numbers. If you have a multi-material printer you can easily print it all together.
- If you don't have a multi-material printer you can just print the ring without the text.
- I used 0.2 layer height with a 0.4 nozzle, but it should work at other layer heights and nozzles. Only thing worth noting is the text is only 0.4mm tall (2 layers at 0.2 layer height).
Assembly:
- In addition to the printed parts, you'll need a cardboard box and optionally some plastic grocery bags for this.
- Cut holes in the cardboard box so that the point ring can fit through.
- On the back side, secure the ring to the box using the locking nut. (Optionally, use the locking nut to secure a bag to capture the pieces as they are shot into this target)

- Modify the open flaps to create an angled base, or just prop it up somewhere.
