I got a cheap phone holder that actually I like it a lot, unfortunately the original “hook” broke when I took my car to wash. I try to desing other replacements but I didn't like my previous designs.
One of these days, wasting my time on Printables, I found a model from HD_Creator for a phone holder in his car vent. I really liked the hook mechanism. His model don't accept remixes but I want to mention his model because I really inspired in his model to my replacement.

Design
I adapt the mechanism to my phone holder, instead of the 18mm ball removeable from the original design, I thread an oval shape that fits in my phone holder.
Change a bit the end of the hook. I made the "tip" of the hook a little more aggressive so that it works on the vents of my car.
And finally I added a flat face as a second support towards the vents.
The only part that is original from the HD_Creator's model is the thumbnut. I'm not a pro designing threads for 3d printing so I guessed the type of threads so my hook fits (almost, a little rough)
Printing details
I print all parts with black PLA. 210 ºC for the nozzle and 65ºC for the bed. The gcode is from Cura. I configured 5 walls and i really recomend the Slicing Tolerance set to Exclusive. The gcode already has all this settings.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
