3D Printing is a hobby in which one should not be afraid of failure. The fails are going to happen and through that failure, through the despair and struggle, the re-tweaking of settings, comes knowledge.
This Maker Coin embraces the fails we all encounter in our 3D Printing journey. It features a silhouette of 3D Benchy, complete with a big old spaghetti mess of a fail at the crown.
The phrase, "Ex Deliquo, Cognitio" borders the coin. The sentiment---from failure, knowledge.

I designed the coin in Blender. For the Spaghetti, I am using Bezier Curves with a square as the Bevel Object. The spaghetti is unsupported in places with the hope of provoking variation and real "micro fails" in the print. I was very much inspired by "Drooloop" Jelly Fish and Flowers by Mark Peeters (http://www.thingiverse.com/peetersm/about), but I wanted variation and chaos, so I used curves.
