Print settings

  • Filament: Print this in TPU or TPE
  • Perimeters: 3
  • Fuzzy skin: Outside walls

Make sure when you print it you enable fuzzy skin outer walls

Installation

  1. You will need to take the mouse completely apart. Take it apart to the stage where you take the whole scroll wheel assembly out (Clear plastic, motor and wheel as one unit). Once done you will need to pop the scroll wheel our from the clear plastic holder. Be carful here not to crack the plastic. You will need to pop one side out first using a small flat head screwdriver, then while trying to hold the side you just popped out out, then try pop the other side out.
  2. Once out you can use a toothpick or small screwdriver to scrape out the old rubber. This should be quite easy as it seems to just fall apart.
  3. Once that is done you should be able to slot the new rubber rings over and into the grove just like a rubber band
