Annoyed that pinball targets move left or right after a while?
Regardless of how many times you re-tighten them they more again?
These will stop that from happening.
If you use these let me know what machine you used them on and if you used the standard or slim version.
Tron LE : Targets "Z" "U" "S" (standard or slim) "E" (using slim)
Ironman VE : Targets "left whiplash" (standard or slim)
xmen LE : Magneto standups (standard or slim)
This is a slimmer version. It is the same as the mark 7 but a little smaller to fit tighter targets.
Example. This can now do Tron "E" target.
This small support helps keep stern pinball targets vertical as they can lean side ways after some time.
Due to differences in the metal targets support you may have to slightly file the inside of the support. It should remain VERY tight to the point that you can only just get the holes to line up.
Printing.
Rotate model so that the small 45 degree cut out in the middle is touching your print bed.
This will make it much easier to insert the metal bracket later.
Infill : i'd suggest atleast 50% as we want this piece strong.
Print time ~ 40 mins.
Installation
Note: There is an up end and down end on this support.
The up end has more space between the screw holes and does not have a small cut out section.
Locate the cut out and that is the end that should be near the wire end of the target.
There is one inside surface that is cut at a 45 degree angle. This allows the angled solder end to easily fit inside the support.
Push it in so that the screw marks line up with the holes. If it doesn't go in double check that it isn't upside down! 2. Put the two screws back in.
3.Push the target onto the back of the screws. It should be tight but should mostly fit.
Use a nut driver until the top of the screws are unable to be driven anymore.
Once this happens use a flat head screw driver to completely drive the screws home. 3. Check that there is no gap between the target and the main steel support. 4. Reinstall target
