I needed a token holder solution for my Plano 3700 series tackle boxes. These fit nicely in the smaller sections of the 3700s, while also having the ability to be stacked to save space on the table. Tokens are easily removed from or placed into the holders, which helps for quickly pulling the token you need or keeping the play area clear of clutter. The lids clip to the top and provide a viewing window for the token options, or you may clip the lids to the bottom so as to not misplace them while the holders are in use. Holders can be stacked with the lids in either position.
Drafter-designer. I used to work in Mechanical Engineering, where I learned to use an FDM 3D Printer, and now I have my own. To understand my work and my designs, it is important to know these things:
1. I almost always print PETG. It is a durable, easy to print material, and is forgiving if something goes not-quite-right with the print. I never use PLA - that is for desktop toys.
2. I try my best to design a product that does not require supports. Post-processing is the worst, IMHO, and that includes removing supports. In addition to this, I try to use as little material as I can. Because of these things, some of my designs might look a little funky or skeletal.
3. No sharp edges allowed. After I'm through with the main body of a model, I go through and round off as many edges as I can. It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine that most folks don't seem to put this effort into their designs. Unfortunately, this adds quite a bit of time to the design process, and can make the models more complex than they really need to be. I assure you it's worth it.
4. I have an outdated license of Solidworks that I do my 3D modeling on. Although I am extremely proficient with it, 2019 was the last version I had before my subscription expired.
I am a dad, homeowner, and a gamer, so the majority of what you will find here falls into one of those categories. I try to include as much technical information as possible with my designs, and if you have a comment/question/request, feel free to message me for more info.
