Edit: Added a step file thats a magnetic version of the tool, so no bolts needed, just some 8mm magnets. They are a tight fit, so i recommend a dab of super glue and some flat pliers to press them into place.
This is a printable version of a chain alignment tool for motorcycles. It will help set your rear wheel alignment with the chain for proper tracking and wear.
You will need a 4mm rod and a few bolts to tighten down the tool. You can resize if you need to for bigger or smaller chains. Design based on “fotion pho” tool which i feel is unreasonably expensive for what it is.
Added a second file with a spring pin using a 6mm e clip and spring to help attach to the chain.
----New V3 is here. Changed the pin to have a deeper groove for e clips and springs. Also increased the size of the head of the pin for easier grip
E-clips can be found at McMasters p/n 98543A113
No supports needed if printed as oriented. Recommend brim for the pin.
Print speed of 50mm/s and recommend at least PLA+ at 210c/70c bed temp
30% infill for strength
