I use the tags already one year now and they turned out being very helpful to organize my filaments. You quickly run into the situation of having 90++ cartons of filament. So how do you differ Who is Who?
I have the tags prepared and cut out. As a couple tags are already prepared for new filament I made this little Tag-Box.
A new pack of filament receives the corresponding tag, the color will be handwritten. Note: the word “NEU” for “NEW” will not be glued, it will indicate that the box is still “unboxed”, not opened. Once I open a package, the tag “NEU” (NEW) will be cut off.
All this sounds time-consuming, but how much time do you loose in searching for the right filament (which probably is wrongly sorted in your shelf), and maybe in the end you runout of something.
You can forget this post when you are only printing with one material in one color.
