DecoHive Picture

DecoHive is a modular, lightweight (16g) and easy to print hexagonal picture frame with the possibility to quickly rearrange the all of the modules.

Assembly

Lay down the frame, insert an already cut out picture (height: 120mm) and click the body in place.
(Information about picture size in the photo section)

Connect the frames with the “side-” or “corner-clips” (or use both).

For wall mounting use srews, nails, double sided tape, poster-tack….

Print information

All the parts are designed for press fit, so tolerances are low (0.1mm).

There are no supports required.

Print outer perimeters first for more accuracy. For the clips you could use the horizontal expansion feature within the slicer to change the thickness and get a better fit.

Neccessary parts for each frame:

• 1x Frame
• 1x Body (Standalone or Connect)
• Some clips for connecting the frames
• 1x photo

Both main parts are printed with 8g of filament each.
