I've been buying more cardboard spools when available to reduce some of my plastic waste but they tend to get caught on the standard spool holder. When I had my ender I found a 608 bearing spool holder so I tracked down a similar model for the voron and it's been working wonderfully except my printer is too close to the wall and the added length made changing spools difficult so I wanted to switch to a top mount spool. Thus we have this mashup. I made this for the Voron 2.4r2 but it should work for any printer with 20x20 t-slot extrusions.
The top mount was based on the linked file on printables by @RadRacer (https://www.printables.com/model/227260-voron-24-top-mount-single-dual-spool-holder) and the bearing spool holder is the 75mm drum from deathrow360 on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5424091)
I had to flip the prongs on the mounting for the top spool bracket since it wouldn't mount flush to the 20x20 extrusions so I would recommend printing this with supports on those prongs. The tab from @RadRacer's design allows it to replace a panel clip where you mount it.
