Precision mini drill press for micro and mini drill machines.
The drill press ist made for precise drilling very small und tiny parts. To be precise, the machine is equipped with a small 150mm long MGN12H ball guided precision rail.
These parts are cheap and easy available via internet.
Alle parts can be easy printed, but some parts should be printed with snug support (special the guider part). Alle screw connections have tap inserts M3, M4 and M5 (1x) wich must be inserted into the parts after printing. In the CAD-Pictures, these inserts are yellow drawn where it should fits. The screws are standard hexnut screws.
The complete drill holder part can be height adjusted via the big right knob, not restricting the lever height adjustment.
All parts are originally printed by a BambuLab X1C with AMS in tough PLA (white) and PLA-CF (baseplate and guider) both from Bambu Lab, but other materials will do also.
Printed with 0.16mm layer height, 0.4mm Nozzle @ 220DegC and 35DegC on Cool Plate.
All parts are ironed on all top faces (30mm/s, 10% flow) this makes the parts perfectly flat.
The handle part of the lever should be printed with fuzzy skin to give more grip.
The precision of the X1C is very good and all parts printed fits perfectly as constructed.
If printed with a different printer wich may have larger tolerances, please try that the parts can move freely without beeing too loose. For the lever movement, a 8x22mm ball bearing is used.
The lever itself is made from 6mm diameter aluminium rod, length to your taste….
