Microsoft Surface Pro 9 Mount

10This is a mount for the Surface Pro 9 that secures it with elastic cord (bungee) across all four corners and uses elastic to pull all four arms tight around the Surface.  Other tablets might also fit that share similar dimensions.

The M18x2.5 threads on the post of the ball joint can be mated with anything you design.  I have included a VESA 100 mount and a clamp for ¾ in black iron pipe.  See my other model for an idea on how to use a black iron pipe with this: https://www.printables.com/model/400720-diy-monitor-pipe-clamp-mount

Print settings

• Material: PETG (PLA should also work)
• Nozzle: 0.6mm (smaller should work)
• Layer height: 0.32mm
• Supports: No
• Infill: 25%
• Walls: 2-3

Hardware required

• 36 x 4-40 3/8 in Philips flat head screws
• 2 small bungee cords cut to various sizes during assembly
• Cup Holder Mount
  • 2 x ¼-20 3 inch bolts (or M6 x 100mm bolts)
  • 2 x ¼-20 nuts (or M6 nuts)

5/9/2023 - Added Tundra cup holder to use portrait orientation and stand without the cup holder.  See picture.

5/15/2023 - Added a stabilizer to the cup holder that will allow it to be used on flat surfaces in profile or landscape orientation.  while in landscape orientation the Surface's built-in stand can be used, this will lift is up higher if that is of value in your use case.  It was a fast creation and could and may be optimized more but it works as is.
