Gridfinity is a great way to organize tools, parts, and candy. thenicnet made a great update to the original window bins. I really liked the idea of having a window on the front of the bin, but the original requirement for tape was troublesome and fragile.

This version only requires a little super glue. It also has cleaned up magnet holes. No more unsightly sags to clean up.

This is the glass slide I use for the window:

This is how I install everything:

  1. Print top and desired bin type.
  2. Slide the glass into the main body. This might be a little tight.
  3. Put a tiny dab of glue right next to the glass on the slot you slid the window down.
    1. I do this because I had some that rattled a tiny bit. This stops that.
    2. I only do one side.
  4. Apply some superglue to the top part in the 45 degree cutouts.
    1. Do both sides
  5. Slide the top on.
  6. Rest the bin on its back, to reduce chance of glue dripping on window.
  7. Wait for glue to dry.
  8. Step back & marvel at your handy work.
