There are a ton of designs for converting an ATX power supply to a bench power supply.  I designed this to suit my requirements - I hope it helps other people too.

  • Prints in PLA (15% infill) without supports
  • Conforms to dimensional specs for ATX case
  • Carrying handle
  • Voltmeter/Ammeter combo
  • All outputs have fuses
  • Test parts available for checking hole sizes and printer settings

It would be easy to use the ATX frame with your own variant of the electronics box (this just screws on at the front).

It is not necessary to print the test parts, but they can be used to check that holes, and other features, are sized correctly and that text prints legibly.

Meter:  The Volt/Amp meter can only be used on one output at a time (and cannot be used for the -12V).  To use connect the output voltage to the input of the meter and connect the load across the outputs of the meter.

Parts list (with links to AliExpress)

1 x Power Switch (12mm 3-6V Fixed self-Locking)

4 x M5 Nuts

2 x 10mm M3 bolt

5 x Fuse Holder

1 pack mixed colour banana plug sockets
