Introducing a frame design, specifically created for efficiently and reliably printing an array of decorative stars. The stars are secured within a detachable frame, allowing for quick and effortless removal from the printer bed all at once. The frame is designed to print during a second pass, ensuring the small attachment tips between the stars and the frame remain weak. This enables easy detachment by hand without leaving any visible marks on the stars.
Please note that this is an advanced print project, and I've decided to share it to assist in printing these intricate small stars or to inspire similar designs.
To achieve the best results, refer to the provided Prusa Slicer example project, which will guide you in adjusting the necessary parameters. It is particularly important to disable the elephant foot compensation for the frame to ensure clean detachment of the stars!
Keep in mind that the example project and gcode file serve as a starting point. Be sure to customize the settings according to the specific filament and printer you're using. This may include adjusting the print speed and temperature settings. It may require several trials to achieve a perfect fit between the frame and the stars, allowing for easy detachment.
Happy Printing!
