This is a simple one-piece tabletop phone stand which I designed to achieve three things:
A clean, elegant design: the straight lines of a modified 100mm equilateral triangle and fixed-radius curves evoke the shape of a bent paperclip. It also reminds me of Scandinavian "bentwood" style, like the famous IKEA Poang chair.
Stable & compatible with a PopSocket: the stand is a bit taller than other models so that it can securely hold an iPhone Max with a PopSocket on the back. Most other models I found interfere with the PopSocket, making the phone unstable. This design touches the back of the phone up higher above the Pop Socket is attached and is large enough to remain stable when you interact with your phone.
Easy to print: I wanted this to be simple to print without supports, which I found to be an issue with other designs that were compatible with a PopSocket. This design is extremely easy to print.
The provided gcode and 3MF files use variable layer height to achieve smoother curves at the edges, but the stl can be sliced fixed layer height for an even faster print.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
