This is a modular colony I made for a role play board game. The game isn't finished yet, but simply building a mars or underwater colony is just as fun as using it for a game.

The buildings snap nicely in place using 6x2mm round magnets. You can find a pack of 100 magnets here. Just push the magnets into the slots every tile has. (One of the picture shows the puzzle style version, but with magnets it's much more satisfying.)

Add a filament change at 2mm height if you want the tiles to have a different color than the building.

The following buildings exist so far. (Obviously you can pretend they have a different role if you wish.)

  • Mother Ship (The only model that needs supports)
  • Batteries
  • Canteen
  • Greenhouse
  • Hospital/Infirmary
  • Housing1
  • Housing2
  • Landing Platform
  • Lookout Tower
  • Mining Drill (e.g. for water or metals)
  • Missile Launcher
  • Nuclear Power Plant
  • O2 Tanks
  • Park
  • Radio Unit
  • Research Lab
  • Shield Generator
  • Solar Panel
  • Sports Complex
  • Waste Management Facility

I may add more buildings in the future and I will release the game material as soon as the game is finished.

Feel free to give me feedback. And if you like the models please share your makes.
