As I recently bought a PS3-EyeCam to use with Raspberry Pi 3 and Octoprint/Octolapse I was searching for stable camera mount. I was not able to find what was in my imagination, so I created this camera holder that mounts to the front (y-axis) of the printer frame. I designed all parts to fit together without any screws or other mounting material with the included printable cotter pins (Splint).
All of those parts were already printed and tested and they all work fine - with a little sanding and/or cutting of the supports (where needed).
All parts are designed to fit together. If you want to mount the camera to be mounted evenly in front of the bed, just print the base (basis) and the cameraplate (Platte) that you want.

The Version in the pictures was V1.0, I made it a 3-part-solution, don't ask me why as the arm printed perfectly in one piece - maybe some more try-and-error-story. The final version is just 2 parts and doesn't need any screws or glue.

Also see my "Ender 3 PRO (only) PS3-EyeCam-Mount", can be used with all those parts from here except the base. Thing #3816235

As always you're welcome to customize. Please post your make (as I'm interested in more ideas) and like it - only if you like it.

Things that print with support and with brim:

  1. Ender 3 PRO PS3-EyeCam Kamerahalterung Platte V1.4
Things that print without support but with brim:

  2. Ender 3 PRO PS3-EyeCam Kamerahalterung Basis V1.4

  3. Ender 3 PRO PS3-EyeCam Kamerahalterung Splint 1 V1.4
  4. Ender 3 PRO PS3-EyeCam Kamerahalterung Splint 2 V1.4

    Print Settings

Printer Brand: Creality

Printer: Ender 3 Pro

Rafts: Doesn't Matter

Supports: Doesn't Matter

Resolution: 0.2 to 0.28

Infill: 25% triangles or 15-20% grid

Filament: Sunlu PLA+ Orange
Notes:

As mentioned in the discription the base can be printed without support but I recommend to use a (small) brim to make it stick to the bed. The camera plate needs support because of some overhangs, the cotter pins just need a brim and no support.
