A minimalist slim wallet for standard-size credit cards opened with a spring-loaded push button.
The wallet should fit 5-6 cards, depending on their thickness. Two appearance versions available: plain and with a diamond pattern.
Geared lever and spring provide a convenient way of opening the wallet with just one hand.
Heavily inspired by a great design by Kenigan: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2756488
Designed for good printability on low-quality printers.
Working mechanism demonstration:
No supports needed, should work with most printers and materials.
In case of any problems with tolerances on your printer, try scaling the rack element up or down a little.
The whole print consists of 4 elements: main frame, rack, lever and top. The wallet can be configured by choosing different models: with/without window, with/without diamond pattern, with/without a bearing for the lever.
For the spring, use standard automatic pen spring, if the spring force is too large, cut the spring to suit your needs.
If a version with a bearing is chosen, use a bearing with diameters: 10mm (external) x 3mm (internal) and a M3x6 setscrew (should screw in the frame tightly, if not use an adhesive to set the screw).
Glue the top and bottom parts together with a standard cyanoacrylate adhesive (e.g. Super Glue), preferably rather viscous one.
