This stand is designed to utilize the IKEA NORDMÄRKE for wireless charging on a bedside table or desk. Horizontal and vertical orientations allow you to make use of your phone while it's charging. Cutouts for the camera and buttons keep the phone flush up against the charger. Side rails position the phone so it's always centered over the charger. Works with and without a case.
After some trial/error with the first one, this is V2 has improved fit. Choose the STL is sized for an iPhone 15, 14 or 11 Pro Max. Slots on the back allow you to ziptie/velcro extra USB wire behind the stand if it's too long.
Wireless charging seemed like a gimmick until I was given an IKEA NORDMÄRKE and realized the one-handed charging or retrieval was so much nicer than having to plug in a charging cord. As well, my phone's charge port is finicky and doesn't always seat the cable properly. Wireless charging solves the problem, but I did find that when in a rush, I wouldn't always place my phone directly on the charger, and it wouldn't charge. This design solves that problem with alignment guides on two edges to insure proper placement.
This design was inspired by the "Minimal IKEA NORDMARKE/RALLEN wireless charger phone stand" by @leonard.
I recommend printing with organic supports as it makes the dimensions of the hole for the charger just-right. My charger fits nicely without needing to file/sand any edges. Mine printed with PLA just fine on the first try, using a Prusa i3 MK3S+.
Created using OpenSCAD, it could be modified to fit any phone, or possibly other types of wireless chargers.
