Mathematics Curve Sketching Template - Math

Hi everyone,

This is a curve sketching template designed to be a learning aid when teaching functions.
It includes a:

• circle
• parabola
• hyperbola
• cubic
• sin and cos

Designed using splines in Fusion360.

I wasn't able to create a exponential/log function but the STEP file is included if someone would be talented enough to redesign one.

How do I use this as a teacher?

Students often struggle with remembering the shape of these fundamental functions. Each year I print out a template for each student and let them use it to draw these graphs. It's particularly useful when discussing translations and transformations as students can slide and flip the template as needed.

The + sign looking shapes are to help align the graphs with a grid.

There are also two holes to fit a 2-ring binder folder for safe keeping.
