80mm CNC spindle magnetic dust shoe / dust boot for 50mm or 75mm hose

This magnetic dust shoe is designed for 80mm CNC spindles. It was designed to be used with transparent PVC (>1.0mm recommended). The PVC is simply wrapped around the magnetic ring, after which the retaining ring can be press-fittet (e.g. using a hammer). The magnet holes are also designed to be press-fitted. If you are worried, you can of course add glue.

Two versions are provided: one for a 50mm inner diameter hose, the other for a 75mm inner diameter hose.

What you need:

• Transparent PVC, I recommend 1mm thickness but used folded 2*0.3mm plastic for mine. Thicker would have been better.
• 16 8x5mm magnets.
• An M5x40 screw and nut. (The hole is not countersunk.)

I also included the FreeCAD source files, so you can edit them on your own without any proprietary software. Please share the models if you make your own.
