These are all the polycubes of order 1 through 5. Order 1 is just a cube. Order 2 is a dicube, two cubes face to face. Order 3 (tricubes) is three cubes either in a line or in an L shape. There are eight tetracubes (order 4) and 29 pentacubes (order 5).
My nomenclature is a little idiosyncratic. P1 and P2 are the cube and dicube. For orders 3 and 4 the name is Pn_X where n is 3 or 4 and X is a letter reminiscent of the shape of the piece. For order 5 the planar ones are P5_X — here X is the standard pentomino letter as defined by Solomon Golomb. The nonplanar ones start with P5_ and then letters and numbers that somewhat arbitrarily refer to the shape of the bottom layer (in some orientation…), the number of cubes in the top layer, and a letter to distinguish these.
Note that two of the cubes in P5_U have been rescaled slightly to provide enough clearance in the “notch” to accommodate another piece without forcing.
Printed at 100% scale each cube is 25 mm on a side.
Nearly all the polycubes can be printed without supports. The exceptions are P5_L2a and P5_L2b.
