This is an easy and quick to print tool, a little helper for the workshop.
In conjunction with seven 8x3mm magnets, it holds a number of screws while you work on your project.
I have created three different sizes. Maybe one of them already fits your ring finger or pinkie. If not, you can print an inner ring out of TPU to fit your finger size. For each magnetic ring, I created four different inner rings that come in thicknesses of 0.8, 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 mm.
The sizes mentioned in the file names refer to the bottom diameter of each ring. The ring is conical, getting slightly larger towards the top. This is to ensure that the magnetic finger ring sits well on the fingertip and does not slip.
Assembly is simple: insert the magnets, put on the small cover so that the magnets don't fall out again and insert the matching rubber ring if necessary.
For the inner rings, I used Overture brand TPU, for which a print temperature of 210 to 230°C should be set. I have set 210°C. If you use a different brand, my gcodes might specify a temperature that is too cold. You should then create your own gcodes.
