The Hyperbolic Time Chamber (çČŸç„ăšæăźéšć± Seishin to Toki no Heya, literal meaning "Spirit and Time Room") is a mystical location in the universe of Dragon Ball, first seen during the Android saga of Dragon Ball Z.
When the characters enter from Kamisama's sky temple on Earth, one year inside is the equivalent to one day on the outside. The gravity inside is also ten times that of Earth's, and the air thickness is about a quarter.
These characteristics allow the heroes to train and get significantly stronger in a really short time, by losing only one natural day on Earth per year of training in extreme conditions.
