Simple solution for Key Returns. You can print the entire key return, or since the key holder has embedded magnets you can just print it and the key will hold to any metal surface!

I printed this at .32 layer height with a .6 nozzle, but in the .f3d upload you can change the parameters in Fusion 360 (Change MagThickess, MagWidth, and LayerHeight) the Magnets used was 8mm x 3mm Magnets. I found the standard 6mm x 2mm were not quite as strong as I would like.

If you are going to use the 8x3 magnets then you don't have to change any parameters in Fusion, simply just download the .3mf and bring it into your slicer and get it ready for printing.

Center to Center for the holes on the HexMag_KeyReturn is 153.53mm or just quickly print the HoleMarkingGuide.

How to change parameters in Fusion:

open the .f3d file > modify > change parameters.

Then in the dialog change the parameters needed:

Click ok and the model is automatically updated!

Now you can just export out the .3mf or .stl:

right click on the body > save as mesh

Once in the slicer you'll need to add a pause and/or layer color changes:

slice now > slide down to the appropriate layer

Right click on the orange hex with the plus in it > click Add pause Print (M601)

Type a description > click ok

Click Slice now again, and the file is ready to send to the printer or save it on an SD card for printing!

Add your key rings/keys and stick it to any metal surface so the keys will be right where they're needed the next time you need to use them!

Enjoy and Take Care,

Darrell
