A quick-printing snap-together spool for eSun's "Refillament."
It sucks that, every time you buy filament, you're stuck with this absurd non-recycleable polystyrene spool that you just have to chuck in the garbage to be carted off to a landfill somewhere. Repurposing them as storage containers or wheels is cute the first couple times, but after a while, the ever-growing stack of empty black husks starts to wear you down.
I've printed a couple rolls of eSun's loose PLA on this spool without issue. It spins freely, doesn't get snagged, & the little holes make it easy to store the filament when not in use.
You need 2 Side Walls, 3 Bridges, & 2 Retainers. Print at 100% infill, because everything is essentially flat anyways, so why not?
NOTE: the "download all files" thing is broken, & uses old versions - download the files individually plz kthx.
V2 UPDATE - OK OK, fine. I output the thing in millimeters. Are you happy now? OK good. While I was updating it, I changed the construction so you don't keep snapping the little hooks on the bridges - it now uses 2 spin-on disks to retain the sides.
