Violin wall hanger / mount for acoustic violins of all sizes, and it should work with violas too. It has a rotating fork that automatically adjusts its angle to grip the violin by the neck.
- Mount the base to the wall using a single screw (head diameter <8mm).
- Attach the fork and to the base, and secure it with an M3x10 hex-socket screw (head diameter 5.4mm) on the bottom side. Optionally, you can insert an M3nS nut in the socket in the base, but the screw will make its own threads in the plastic that will hold just fine.
- Ensure that the fork can rotate freely by 90°.
No supports required. PLA recommended. 15% gyroid infill will suffice.
Additional parts
- 1x wall / wood mounting screw, head diameter <8mm, 40-60mm length
- 1x M3x10 hex-socket screw
- 1x M3nS nut - optional
NOTE: Mount the hanger so the M3 screw goes to the bottom side.
