Dusthood for 43mm sorotec spindle holder

It takes 2 80mm hoses for maximum dust extraction with a high volume dust extraction like a Felder AF160.

Its mounted to the spindle holder of Sorotec and fits nicely on the Sorotec Basic Line Z Axis.

The dusthood is printed in 4 parts, the main body beeing the only one which needs supports.

I printed it with my Bambu X1 - sliced with Bambu Slicer -  in PolyLite PETG. With the body beeing the only part needing supports, the only further thing i would recommend is printing the small tray and hose connectors solid. The hose connectors are glued in, the tray is attached with magnets (5mmx10m neodym). The magnets have to be inserted into the tray AND the body while printing. A tolerance of +0.2 for the holes is already considered.

The tray takes a PVC foil which is glued in. A small detail here is the slot for the foil is 1.65mm, because the 2mm foil was more 1.6mm think. You might want to consider this.
