Secret Magnet Box Lock

A lock controlled by magnets that's invisible from the outside!

I used the box that my Quest 2 came, but this design should work for any other flat-topped chest-like box.

Print with 2 perimeters and be careful not to over-clamp the parts while gluing (which is what I did, oops). Also, print them vertically so that the main hole has the best resolution (see the ‘Full Set’ model). No supports required.

Materials (for one lock):

• 2x 18x5mm Magnets
• 1x M4 40mm Socket-Head Screw (Got mine from here)
• 1 Large/Power Magnet for unlocking (must be powerful enough to move the inner magnet through the box)
• E6000 or any glue to keep the parts stuck to the inside of the box
• Some duct tape to help align the parts during while gluing.

The circular intends on the sides are from using clamps to keep the parts in place during the gluing process.

Don't forget to make sure that the alignment of the parts is pretty spot on.
