BambuLab X1C trash bin

Summary:

I made a simple waste bin for my BambuLab X1 Carbon. One part contains magnets (5x1mm) and is screwed to the X1C with the original screws. The other part snaps onto the one at the printer. The magnets on the second part are glued in.

The waste bin is quite heavy so it needed a little stand at the bottom which is taped to the printer with double-sided tape.

Printing the frame:

When printing the frame orientate it facing down. Pause the print at the last layer before the holes for the magnets get covered - put in the magnets and continue printing. This way you'll get a clean looking “magnetic” frame.
