Geeetech A10 universal indicator holder

This mod allows the reusing of the blower fan M2 screws. Only requires 2 additional M4 socket head bolts and M4 nuts to clamp the dial indicator into the holder base. The bolts used in the pictures are M4 x 30. 

The dial indicator in the picture is a Mitutoyo 2046F with a stem diameter of Ø8 mm. If the stem diameter of your dial indicator is larger than Ø10, longer bolts should be considered.

Material

Recommended to be printed in PETG or any material that has a heat distortion temperature higher than PLA. 

Printing

The print orientation for this should be from the mounting face of the holder base and up (refer to the attached .3mf file). The parts, especially the holder base, should be printed slow, hot and with minimal cooling whenever appropriate for the best layer adhesion. Referring to the IRL pictures of the mod, the parts themselves were printed from eSUN PETG with an Ender 3 v2 with BL-Touch.

General print settings that must be adhered to:

• 4 walls (or more);
• 4 top and bottom layers (or more);
• 20% grid infill (not recommended to go past 40%).
