This is a tray for our mini-reel design. It is an update to my earlier design for a tray.
The major changes are:
We aim for trays of 380 mm, because these fit well on our shelfs. However, this exceeds the build plate of our printer, so we print the tray in two halves. That is why there are STL files for the “left half” and the “right half”. I also added an STL file for a one-piece tray (of 190 mm).
The design is in OpenSCAD, and most dimensions are configurable with the “customizer” of OpenSCAD. It is not limited to mini-reels of 100 mm diameter, for example; you might even make a tray for standard 7-inch reels.
