A support for the X-axis cable strand.
In my case I wanted to be sure there is not too much stress on the x cable because I mounted the 3DO Nozzlecam Mainboard Box on that cable. So I designed this cable support that is meant to be clipped on the frame and on the x-axis wiring loom. The rubber band should not be too flexible and should have a diameter of 2mm. The diameter is important for the way the band is attached to the small rings. .

I bought this cheap non-elastic synthetic rubber band with 2mm diameter from Amazon. You can use any other (slightly elastic) thread as long as it is round and 2mm thick.
Assembly Instructions :

pull the rubber band through the hole of one of the small rings. Let it jut out some millimeters, then put a drop of cyanoacrylic glue on the short jut out part and immediately pull it back into the ring (with the glue on it). By this method the rubber band is strongly connected with the ring.

After the glue has dried push the band through the hole of the clip-on-the-frame part and pull it back so the ring sits completely in the hole (should be freely mobile in the hole).
Now shorten the rubber band to roughly 19cm. Push the free end through the hole in the cable clip and then through the second ring like shown in the picture. Position the ring at 17cm. Then put another drop of superglue directly behind the ring on the free part of the rubber band and immediately pull the band back in the ring some 2-3mm with the non cured glue on it like done before with the other end.

After the glue has completely dried shorten the band 1mm behind the ring (cut 2cm away) and pull the ring with the band into the hole of the cable clip.
Now the device is complete and can be clipped to the frame and the cable.

The whole thing should look like this when it is finished:

I printed the clips in PETG with 0,4mm nozzle and 2mm layer hight.
