This is a stand/holder for up to 18 Nintendo Switch cartridges, and 4 wrist straps.
It works great and looks great for storing game cartridges, and for finally giving a "home" for storing those wrist straps, which otherwise just get left sitting around literally everywhere (at least in my house).
Note that I have included the files for 3 separate versions of this design:
There's an STL file for the stand without the nintendo switch logo on the front, for those who like it plain (or if your printer doesn't do well with the minor overhangs on the logo)
There's an STL file that has the logo etched on the front
And lastly, there are two separate STL files (one for the stand itself, and one for the logo) that make up the MMU (Multi-Material)-compatible version of this design (which is what's shown in the pictures) with the logo printed in a separate color, for those who have multi-material or multi-extruder printers.
I should give some credit to the excellent "Nintendo Switch Game Stand" by @dev-0x7C6, and "Nintendo Switch Logo" by @NATEBASEBALL6 (on thingiverse), since I used at least a few pieces of each of their designs in the process of creating this one.
Printer Brand: Prusa
Printer: MK3S+MMU2S
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 5%
Filament: Hatchbox PLA Black/White
Notes:
I sliced this in PrusaSlicer, and printed it on my Prusa i3 MK3S+MMU2S (multi-material) printer. I used Hatchbox "True Black" and Hatchbox "True White" PLA. I set it to use only 5% grid-style infill (which is plenty for this big ole block of a thing), and used the 0.2mm "speed" preset in PrusaSlicer, and it turned out great. As for the multi-material settings, I put the purge volume in PrusaSlicer at 175 "unloaded" and 175 "loaded" on both colors... just to prevent color bleeding between the dramatically different black and the white filaments. You may or may not need to purge that much in between colors, depending on your filaments, etc.
It took about 17 hours for me to print this as a multi-material print... but it's more like 12-13 hours (on my printer) if printing in only a single color.
I didn't use any kind of rafts, skirts, or supports... but your mileage may vary, depending on your printer and setup. It wouldn't be a bad idea to add a raft or at least a skirt, especially if you tend to have corners peel up on you during larger prints... just since this has such a large flat base, with square corners.
