Silica gel container hygrometer replacement lids

I got fed up with having the push the hygrometers out (with some considerable force!) from the original lids in order to change batteries. However I found that they did come apart quite easily. Therefore, I built a model where a user can remove the hygrometer from its original case, and put it in here.

I did not make room for the Celcius/Farenheit switch - set it once before disassembling the original hygrometer. When taking apart, be careful of the “rubbery” contacts on the LCD screen, they can be knocked off and don't seem to go back on. Also take care to put the LCD in the correct way round - the circuit board has a cut out to prevent misalignment but the LCD does not.

I put four screw holes - it should do with two alternate corners, but you may need all 4 - M2 between 8 and 14mm should work. The battery cover is held on by M2x4 screws. 

The fit is quite close in order to keep the circuit board pushed up against the screen. But if you jiggle the back slightly it should all just drop into place.
